Plastering is when you cover the whole wall with plaster to create a more durable finish, Tape & jointing is when we use special indented boards which we only joint the seams to create a flat surface ready for decoration

It all depends on which system you use. Stud and track is the most common for security walls, We layer plywood, steel laser mesh and plasterboard to create a smash proof walls for secure stock rooms etc.
